A good pet grooming session could take anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours depending on the breed, fur type, size, personality, last grooming session, and the services being performed.
Small pets: 1.5 to 2 hours (if not matted)
Medium size pets: 1.5 to 2.5 hours (if not matted)
Large pets: 1.5 to 3 hours
X-Large and XX_Large pets: 2 to 4 hours
Longer hair and curly hair breeds like Poodles and Doodles may take 3 hours to 4 hours due to detangling and trimming.
Matted dogs can take 2 to 4 hours approximately.
At Poochouse Pet Grooming we like to take our time to make sure the dog / cat is comfortable through the grooming process. We want to ensure the grooming table remains a safe place for both, the pet and the groomer, reason why if needed, we give time off to take a break.
