What services do you offer?

We provide a range of grooming services, including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, haircuts, deshedding, and specialty treatments such as flea baths or hypoallergenic shampoos.

How does mobile pet grooming work?

We bring our fully-equipped grooming van to your home. All grooming is done inside our vehicle, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and convenient experience for your pet.

Do I need to provide anything for the grooming session?

No, we bring all the necessary equipment and supplies. All we need is a safe location to park near your home.

How long does an appointment take?

A good pet grooming session could take anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours depending on the breed, fur type, size, personality, last grooming session, and the services being performed.

Small pets: 1.5 to 2 hours (if not matted)

Medium size pets: 1.5 to 2.5 hours (if not matted)

Large pets: 1.5 to 3 hours

X-Large and XX_Large pets: 2 to 4 hours

Longer hair and curly hair breeds like Poodles and Doodles may take 3 hours to 4 hours due to detangling and trimming.

Matted dogs can take 2 to 4 hours approximately.

At Poochouse Pet Grooming we like to take our time to make sure the dog / cat is comfortable through the grooming process. We want to ensure the grooming table remains a safe place for both, the pet and the groomer, reason why if needed, we give time off to take a break.

Do you groom all types of pets?

We primarily groom dogs and cats. However, if you have a different type of pet, please contact us to discuss your needs.

How do I prepare my pet for grooming?

Ensure your pet is ready for the session by keeping them calm and relaxed. Let us know if they have any special needs or behavioral concerns beforehand.

If the dog is matted, we highly recommend brushing the hair to remove tangles as much as possible. This way the groom is not painful or stressful.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 to 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a cancellation fee. Please contact us as soon as possible to make changes and to have the opportunity to fill out the space you are giving away.

What precautions do you take for pets with sensitive skin?

We also provide gentle and allergy-friendly grooming services. We use hypoallergenic and fragrance-free shampoos and conditioners to ensure your pet’s comfort. We take extra care with pets that have sensitive skin by using soft brushes, lukewarm water, and gentle handling throughout the grooming process. We avoid harsh chemicals and offer natural, soothing products to prevent irritation.

If your pet requires a medicated shampoo or special treatment, you are welcome to bring it, and we will apply it during the session.

Do you groom dogs of all sizes and ages?

Absolutely! We welcome dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. Whether you have a tiny puppy, a senior dog, or a large breed, our experienced groomers are equipped to provide gentle and professional care tailored to your pet’s needs.
